Rapidly expanding global executive search firm Carmichael Fisher, has today announced that industry veteran Sam Wallace has joined the firm as the Global Head of Practice. Wallace will lead the Technology team in Los Angeles, Calif. in a role that marks a significant expansion of the firm’s US operations.

Ms Wallace brings with her more than 20 years of experience in recruiting and executive search. Originally from the UK, she has operated for some of the industry’s leading global players in Europe, Canada and since 2014, the United States.

Prior to joining Carmichael Fisher, Ms Wallace spent 12 years with Korn Ferry – initially as Sector Leader for that organization’s Futurestep division based in Vancouver, where she remained for seven years. In 2014, Ms Wallace was appointed to head up the firm’s Professional Search Technology division for North America in a role that saw her relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Commenting on her appointment, Sam Wallace said: “The technology sector in the US and Canada is evolving at a rate never experienced before. New opportunities are opening up all the time and the possibilities are seemingly endless. While this is great for the sector and the wider economy as a whole, it does present tech leaders with a real challenge – how to attract and retain top tech talent – especially at senior level.
